Guerrilla Advisory Committee

We're back to Dutch weather, although we had an anomaly for about a month in which it felt like Barcelona weather. There were days I forgot where I was living. But now that it's rainy and cloudy again, I feel reoriented.

One thing I've created recently while doing my studies is the Guerrilla Advisory, which aims to go to interesting places or get insight into certain systems or products, subsequently offering unsolicited advice about how things can be improved. The idea stems from the fact that so many people around us have loads of creativity and drive, yet simply don't know where to begin. This provides an opportunity to be creative and to think about things in new ways without the immediate pressure of realizing those suggestions. If an institution likes our advice, hopefully they'll work with us to realize those improvements. Otherwise, it's a good excuse to get out and see new things.

Only 6 more weeks of school. The year has gone by so fast.

  1. Hi Chris,

I came across this blog when looking for contact information of the international office of the University of Utrecht. Since you are an international student we have an interesting free service/website that is very handy for you and fellow students. www.marketstuff.nl is the first English and Dutch online marketplace in the Netherlands where you can buy and sell second hand stuff. I just e-mailed the international office to ask them if they could spread the word about Marketstuff.nl so many students can benefit and sell and buy second hand stuff. I'm sending you this, because it could be of interest for you and maybe you can use it in one of your blogs as an interesting topic. If not, no problem, but i hope you can help us and other students benefiting from each other. Kind regards, Jean-luc. www.marketstuff.nl
