This last semester has been a great experience. I need to update a little bit what I have been up to lately as I have been absent from the blog for some months. So after I finished my first semester in Utrecht, I had to move to Leipzig in Germany to study my second semester here. My master program is a “Joint Master Program” and the characteristic is that we have the chance to do one semester abroad in a partner university. As a result I came to Germany to take some courses in Natural Resources Management.
The greatest thinks were the changes of the seasons, first spring and now summer, the sun really makes a difference! As in every new beginning, I had to look for accommodation, do all the paper work for the university, find a bike, make new friends, and get used to the new academic program. But everything turned out just great; I really like this city and the people, and in terms of my academic purposes, I am quite satisfied with all the things I have learned and produced. I have to say though that I really miss all of my colleagues and friends from Utrecht, and I am looking forward to going back at the beginning of September.
So now the semester is finally over, but I don’t have vacations yet. I will be participating in a Summer School offered by the University of Graz for students that study different Joint Master Programs. This turned out to be quite an international study program for me.
