Sweden trip

After a couple of weeks spent in Romania with my family i took a flight to Stockholm to visit some swedish friends. This is my first trip in the nordic part of Europe. For a week i have stayed close to Uppsala (the swedish equivalent of Utrecht) and i traveled a bit to see the capital city and Uppsala also. While Uppsala has its palace on a hill, Stockholm is surrounded by water and many neighbourhoods are situated on islands. The landscape is beautiful. Another week we spent near Falun (200 km north from Uppsala) in a camp surrounded by lakes. The nights in tent were a bit cold and the swedes went for a swim every day even if the temperature outside was not more than 20 celsius. The image to describe sweden as seen from the window of your car is this: a big forest with some huge lakes and lots of stones. If you dare to get off your car i can guarantee you will find yourself eating blue berries all day long. At least that's what happened to me. Now i have two more days and a my friend's birthday party to attend before flying back home.
