New challenges

Last week I just finished the final subject of my second block. It was a really busy week to prepare for the final exam and presentation. Fortunately everything went well. Today I just started the second master course and with it new challenging topics. Along with this course, I will start my 9 months internship at the Utrecht Medical Center. I am very excited to start but also full of anxiety. This will be the mayor research project to accomplish my master degree. The topic I chose to work with is called Autophagy…in very easy words, it is mechanism that the cell has to get rid of self-things that are not needed any more. This topic is absolutely new for me but that is exactly the reason why I chose it….to challenge myself and to get the opportunity to learn new things.
I’m also excited because I found I new home to life in. This one is much closer to the university that the one I was living in before….is just 10-12 min bike and is located right in the center! …close to the night life I was away from. In order to take advantage of it, I will dedicate myself Tuesdays night to go dancing salsa. I also enrolled myself in a gym close by that offers yoga classes to keep both body and mind in shape!
As you can see this new stage of my master it will be full of academic challenges but also some self time to keep me relax and to enjoy the most of it.
