It’s been two months since I started my internship at the UMCU and so far I can say that it has been a wonderful experience. Both the group I am involved in and the rest of the department, perform very high research level and expect a lot of good and hard work from you. Never the less, the people working there are nice, fun to work with and have made my stay very pleasant. Since I came to Utrecht University expecting an excellent education and high research level; I can say pretty confident that I am completely satisfied.
On Thursdays afternoon, I am also having my master lectures. So between my lab work and the self study I have been keeping myself busy but also entertained. I have found time to go outside, mostly to the Wihelmina Park to enjoy beautiful days. That I am sure are just a taste of what is coming.
By the end of this year, after I complete my internship, I will be going home for Christmas. I am very excited to go and therefore working as hard as I can to get everything ready on time, to enjoy the complete season with my family.
