it is finally July! That means summer! Utrecht and The Netherlands is a great place to spend your summer! There is a wide range of things that somebody can do! Block #4 ended in July 2, 2010! It was a very exhausting but rewarding block! We conducted our Eye-Tracking experiment and we had some robust results!
Our Research Seminar course that lasted for Blocks (Block #3 and Block #4) reached a culminating end. Within the framework of this course, instead of writing a τypical course paper we had the opportunity to produce a commentary to a Journal Keynote article that agitated and disturbed the Linguistics scene! Linguists all over the world have commented on this article! Of course, two Reverend Linguists of our UiL OTS have submitted their own commentary!
It is my great Honor to be a student of the MPhil in Linguistics! Our Professors are above all Pedagogists!
Now, we will take some rest during our summer holidays and we will return in mid-August with many fresh and lovely news from The Utrecht University Summer School and the Introduction week for 2010-2011 Freshmen of the MPhil in Linguistics!
