Blue skies, Green grass and Bright sunshine

Blue skies, green grass and bright sunshine... Now, if you try to start a conversation with a guy from South India with these words, the conversation ain't gonna last more than a few sentences. Because the weather is always like this back there and its nothing special. But in my case, especially taking into consideration that I have been here in the Netherlands for almost 9 months, the story is a little different. Every time I meet someone, unbeknown to myself, I start a conversation about the wonderful weather especially after experiencing the longest and coldest winter in my life (yes, this was the coldest winter I had faced in my life until now). I craved for sunshine so much that it showed, literally, as even my skin had turned pale. And as the official date of the start of spring passed by (21st of march), I had began to grow more and more impatient waiting for the sunshine! But there was this unfathomable hope that the skies would get clearer and i could enjoy the sunshine like home again! And true to my hopes, the weather did not disappoint me, it was more than what i imagined. In fact, it was actually so much like home that sometimes i woke up in the mornings thinking i was back in India... And after that, as people say, it is all history, I was out in the sun every evening on my bike exploring the lesser known parts of Utrecht!
