The first three months

Last weekend i have celebrated three months of living in the Netherlands. Three months have passed and i can say i like it here. There have been good days and hard days, days of struggling with homework, mornings with biking against the wind, afternoons when i would have given anything for a nap. But in the mean time i got used with it. The rain is not a problem anymore (since i bought that ponjo !) and the food is green and healthy and most of all original.
I remember six month ago i was so happy of being admitted for a master program at Utrecht University but still not sure that i can make it. Some miracles happened so now i can count months here. The counting is like this: three months since i landed, two months since i've got my first bike and one month since the winter has come. One period has gone, the midterms are history but still it's a long way to the end of the semester.
Above all what matters is that i have learnt a lot in the last three months. First of all i leaned how to drive my bike. I did it myself, alone on my narrow street, and now it has a special place in the every-day life. I learned
how good is to do lots of exercises for homework and that sometimes the marks are not that important. I have learnt how nice some computations can be represented in a simple way using Feynman diagrams, so theoretical physics is not only about doing endless calculations but also about drawing nice funny pictures. I have also learnt that the rain is not that spontaneous as some people say. If i read the forecast in the morning i am well prepared. But no, i haven't learnt the language yet. Somebody says that the dutch people won't let us learn dutch, that's why they always use english.

Three months have past and there are some more to come and i am looking forward to accomplish the purpose for which i am here.
